Error: There was an error running SCANDISK...(due to program exited too early).

There was an error running SCANDISK.EXE, or it was canceled. You may still have errors on your disk(s). Press any key to continue starting Windows.
Cause:
ScanDisk encountered a problem running or it was exited too early and left errors remaining on the disk(s).
Solution:
Run ScanDisk.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Programs' and select 'Accessories'.
3) Select 'System Tools' and select 'ScanDisk'. (The 'ScanDisk' dialog box appears.)
4) Select the appropriate drive to be examined for errors.

5) Do one of the following in the 'Type of test' group:

a) Select the 'Standard' radio button to scan all folders and files for errors.
b) Select the 'Thorough' radio button to scan the entire drive for errors, as well as scanning all folders and files.
6) If necessary, select the 'Automatically fix errors' check box.

7) Click the 'Start' button.

8) When 'ScanDisk' is finished, click the 'Close' button.
